The Sims 4 is one of only four titles available for Game Time play, along with Titanfall, Battlefield 4, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The offerings are still a bit anemic since launching the program last year. The freedom to pick when I want to sit down and make a purchasing assessment is a feature I appreciate.
I rarely participate in “free weekend” events for games, the game offered generally being something I’m not interested in or wouldn’t have time for that particular weekend. Progress made during the trial period is saved and players can pick up right where they left off if they decide to buy the game. Players can install The Sims 4 now through Origin and play free for 48 hours, starting from the first time the game is launched.
